Upon arrival, you’ll immediately fall in the love with the charming home. Stroll up to the entrance and into the enclosed front porch to be greeted by a hundred-year-old wooden barn door, log walls and inlaid stone floor.
Entering through the sunroom, with a full-sized sleeper sofa, wicker desk and chair, and flat-screen cable TV, you’ll be welcomed by an original 100 year old hand-hewn front door that leads into the living room.
Soft, amber hardwood flooring meet your feet in the living area, while country wood walls, high-beamed ceilings and a large, original rock fireplace welcomes you to the open space. A comfy couch and 55-inch flat-screen cable TV makes this spot perfect for lounging during your downtime.
The chef of the group will delight in the fully equipped country kitchen with granite countertops, tile floors, rough-sawed lumber walls and ceiling, and plenty of space to prepare delicious meals.
In the guest bedroom, you’ll find the same amber floors and original, beautiful lumbered walls that are in the living area. Nestled by a window is a lovely, white, antique metal queen-sized bed with hand-painted ceramic knobs. The room also features a flat-screen cable TV and a beautifully restored antique vanity, which includes a tall mirror, perfect for getting ready for the day.
From the guest bedroom, wander into the guest bath with an original antique, fully restored clawfoot tub, allowing you to soak in a bubble bath or rinse off in a shower if you prefer.
The heads of the household are sure to love the large master bedroom, offering its own fireplace, soft paint and natural wood walls. Adorned in this lovely room is a king-sized antique bed, flat-screen cable TV, and another beautiful antique vanity with a tall dressing mirror.
Depart from kitchen and walk towards the rear of the home to find a lovely enclosed back porch equipped with a beautiful antique hand painted metal full size bed for additional sleeping and plenty of fresh air if you choose to open the windows that line the wall. If the season is right, you may catch a glimpse of Lake Taneycomo, one of 2 lakes that the home is within minutes from.

This lovely home is nestled right in the heart of small town Forsyth, which is the county seat in Taney County. Situated right off of Highway 160, this home makes it easy to get to all of the attractions in the area!
If you’re not in the mood for cooking, a wonderful BBQ or great country cooking restaurants are with in walking distance. Afterwards, continue perusing the area to get dessert at the local pastry shop, which also offers delicious sandwiches called Yummy Donuts. Around the corner on Main Street is a small town country coffee shop called Thrive, which offers any kind of coffee or tea you’d like, along with salads and sandwiches.
In town, there are also plenty of antique flea shops to browse through, perfect for picking up a souvenir!
Fishers, bring your rods! Cold water fishing in Lake Taneycomo or warm water fishing in Lake Bull Shoals are only a couple minutes away!
Outdoor enthusiasts will be ecstatic to be so close to numerous outdoor activities, including hunting, hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding and ziplining!
During the summer enjoy a day of splashing in the warm waters of Bull Shoals and Table Rock Lakes or relaxing on the shore. If you’re more of a land-dweller, visit the famous Mark Twain National Forest for scenic hiking trails.
Just 15 to 20 minutes takes you to golfing, live entertainment, and an abundance of dining and shopping at Branson Landing.
